About the project
The Pakhndara site is located in Ayni District, 38 km from the international Dushanbe–Chanak highway. Geological reserves exceed 1 million tonnes of coal. The seams are low-sulphur and steeply dipping, with a calorific value of up to 7,200 kcal/kg.
What the company needs: additional exploration, mechanised mining with new technology, construction of a coal preparation plant and a coke plant.
