About the project
The Jijikrud site lies at km 84 of the international Dushanbe–Chanak highway. Geological reserves exceed 60 million tonnes of coal. The seams are coking, low-sulphur and steeply dipping, with a calorific value of up to 7,200 kcal/kg.
What the company needs: additional exploration, construction of a mechanised mine using new mining technology, a coal preparation plant and a coke plant.
